Loving Vincent
Tomorrow Friday 22nd it's the premiere of the animated movie "Loving Vincent". Inspired by the letters exchanged between Vincent Van Gogh and his brother Theo. I'd like this movie would be available in my city but only certain states will enjoy this piece of Art. Here is the official trailer and as always a song to indulge your ears. I can't wait to watch this european movie.

War Times
Lately I've been listening european music. The posted drawing here is inspired by a russian song named Sinii Platochek. Yes, Russia again. No, I'm not a fan of its government, just a person eager
to learn about history and music lover. Well according my researches about the second World War, some couples use to organize a farewell gathering where there were music they use dance, of course in a blue mood.
This is one of the couples just before going to war.

Rasputin
Rasputin the russian monk who predicted that russian empire will fall if he's murdered by someone from the royal family. It is a mystery still in our days, what he did for having many women around him like flies around honey. He was a peasant who was preaching his own twisted religion. Despite of his poor hygiene, he was accepted in the court as an advisor and doctor. I think he was skillful in speaking, kind of charlatan however, he left many questions without answers about his death and the fall of Romanov family. I wonder what Vladimir Putin thinks about Rasputin.

The shape of you
Hello, Here's my illustration painted with a mouse. Yes! in the advanced digital world of artists, I'm still painting with mouse!!! The pain in the wrist is terrible...I will not paint again ..at least until next month. By that time I'll be doing some traditional painting. I desperately need a tablet!! Well , saving for that.
The lady boxer is inspired in the dancer who performs in the video "the shape of you" by Ed Sheeran, a hit number 1 of the winter. I hope you like it.

Red Riding Hood
The story "red riding hood" originally was not created for children, it's more for teenagers. The original plot is the same but bloody. There's no hero who saves the little girl and before going to bed with the wolf, little red hiding hood eats her grandmother rests. It's spooky but it's the one that Charles Perrault created. Then Grim brothers came and changed it.
Voila my drawing inspired in that story.

Limelight
Charles Chaplin created the beautiful musical piece "limelight" for the movie of the same name. The most peculiar scene of the movie is when the main character (Chaplin) slap on the dancer's cheek to stop her panic attack. Extreme situations require measures. Today I watched the scene once again, and I remember the panic to the public when I was a child, I'd never play any instrument in front of more than hundred people, never again. For a shy person, the feeling is unbearable.
I identify myself with the dancer. Well, here is what this movie inspired me.

Starboy
The song "Starboy" written by the french duet Daft Punk and other music composers was a hit in Europe and United States. It's very noticeable the nice swing of euro rhythms. The same happens with the song "I feel it coming" . Undeniable talent of Daft Punk.

The rose of Versailles
Mangas and animes are very popular in Japan. I remember the favorite in my childhood was Berusaiyu no Bara, translated to english "The rose of Versailles". I remember it was the first time I saw a very dramatic scene I haven't seen before. I couldn't help the tears rolling down my cheek. The music score has to play an important role to make sad any spectator. Here's a piece of the vast soundtrack. Enjoy it.
